Safe working practices with Hydrogen and fuel cells
Working on Hydrogen systems in vehicles requires particular care and specific qualifications. Due to the high flammability of Hydrogen, stringent safety requirements apply, as defined in DGUV Information FBHM-099. This describes the necessary qualification levels and content for anyone working on corresponding gas systems.
Our training courses provide practical knowledge of the safe handling of Hydrogen systems – from the basics and leak detection to emergency management. In addition, we offer combined formats such as the “H2 Level 2E & HV Level 2E” training course to meet the requirements for high-voltage components in fuel cell vehicles.

DGUV FBHM-099 – Level E
Provides the ability to safely operate, refuel and commission Hydrogen or gas-powered vehicles without intervention in gas systems.
Level 1E
Working on Gas-Powered Vehicles
(Arbeiten an Fahrzeugen mit Gasantrieb)
DGUV Information 209-093 – Level 1E
Permits the execution of defined tasks on gas-powered vehicles exclusively under the direction and supervision of a qualified person.
Level 2E
Working on Gas Systems

DGUV FBHM-099 – Level 2E
Entitles the holder to independently perform work on de-energised gas systems, especially Hydrogen vehicles, using appropriate protective measures.
Level 3E
Construction and Modification of Gas Systems

DGUV FBHM-099 – Level 3E
Qualified for independent work on gas systems in development and testing, including assembly and modification, testing, documentation and Hazard Assessments.

Serves as the mandatory refresher training for the Maintenance of Qualification for working on gas systems in accordance with DGUV FBHM-099.
