The use of external companies is daily practice in many companies, but it brings special challenges. In particular, the legally compliant organisation and management of external companies with regard to occupational health and safety and safety standards requires clear processes and trained personnel.
This training course on Contractor Coordination provides practical guidance on how to structure, legally comply with and safely organise collaboration with external companies. The focus is on the legal framework in accordance with § 8 ArbSchG, the coordination of Hazard Assessments, the verification of qualifications and the clear regulation of responsibilities and areas of responsibility, especially when working on critical systems, in unfamiliar environments or when several companies are operating simultaneously.
Participants learn how to prepare for and support external company assignments in compliance with the law, reliably implement coordination obligations and safely involve all parties. This is done using case studies and exercises for direct transfer into practice.
