Switching Authorisation - Medium-voltage systems - Advanced training

Performing switching operations on medium-voltage systems above 1 kV involves increased electrical hazards and requires in-depth specialist knowledge and practical experience. This advanced training course for switching authorisation provides the necessary operational reliability for safe and proper switching – in accordance with DIN EN 50110-1, DGUV Regulation 3, the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) and the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG).

The focus is on the practical implementation of switching operations, the application of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the use of safety-relevant tools such as earthing and short-circuiting devices. Participants will deepen their knowledge of the 5 safety rules and implement them within the framework of concrete exercises in their own system environment.

The advanced training course is aimed at certified electricians who have already completed the basic training course. It qualifies them to independently perform switching operations in medium voltage systems.
