Standard-compliant testing of charging equipment in Electromobility
Duration:
2 days / 20 teaching units
Format:
In-person
Participants:
Max. 12
Completion:
Written examination / certificate
Charging systems for electric vehicles are subject to strict requirements with regard to electrical safety. Protective measures must be checked and documented in accordance with standards both during initial commissioning and during repeat inspections. This training course qualifies you to work as a competent person (EFKbP) for testing charging points, wallboxes and charging cables in accordance with TRBS 1203, DIN VDE 1000-10 and the relevant safety regulations.
Participants will learn how to legally assess the effectiveness of protective measures, focusing on the standard-compliant execution of tests in the field of Electromobility. The training course provides both the legal and normative foundations, as well as the technical knowledge of measurement methods, Hazard Assessments and the safe handling of current testing equipment.
In the practical part, participants work with AC wallboxes of different types and practice on realistic test setups with modern measurement technology. This enables a direct transfer of learning into the individual working environment. The practical orientation of the training prepares participants specifically for the challenges of testing charging infrastructure and creates a high degree of confidence in a dynamically growing field of activity.
