Certified electricians are required to maintain their expertise regularly to ensure they can continue to work responsibly and in accordance with the law. The standards DIN VDE 0105-100 and DIN VDE 1000-10, as well as the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, explicitly require that knowledge of applicable regulations, safety-relevant requirements and the state of the art be continuously updated. After all, only those who are familiar with the current regulations are permitted to carry out electrical work on their own responsibility.
This training course is aimed at certified electricians whose last qualification or practical activity was some time ago, as well as specialists who want to specifically refresh their knowledge of new technical developments, changes in regulations and organisational requirements. The course teaches practical expertise, current safety regulations and how to handle new technologies, systems and working methods safely.
The aim of the training course is not only to formally confirm expertise, but also to ensure its practical applicability in day-to-day professional activities. In doing so, companies make a decisive contribution to occupational safety and, at the same time, strengthen legal protection when dealing with electrical systems and equipment.
Needs-oriented selection from the subject areas covered in the basic qualification:
