Instructed Person in Electrical Safety – EuP Mandatory Annual Instruction<br><i>(<span>Elektrotechnisch unterwiesene Person – EuP Jahresunterweisung</span>)</i>

The annual training course for Instructed Persons in Electrical Safety (IPES) is a statutory requirement and makes a crucial contribution to safety when handling electrical systems, equipment and installations. This is based on the German Occupational Health and Safety Act §12 and DGUV Regulation 1, which require regular refresher training on safety-relevant knowledge.

This training course is aimed at employees without formal electrical training who, as part of their duties, perform specific tasks under the direction and supervision of a skilled person, such as resetting protective devices, entering electrical operating areas, or working on electrical components in industrial environments, workshops or in service.

The Mandatory Annual Instruction refreshes existing knowledge, raises awareness of current potential hazards, draws attention to changes in work situations and provides information on new regulations and standards, in particular with regard to DIN VDE 0105-100 and current accident prevention regulations.

This enhances operational reliability and ensures the continued legally compliant deployment of persons instructed in electrical safetyin everyday operations.
