This training course teaches the content based on DGUV Regulation 3 and qualifies participants to professionally inspect charging cables for electric vehicles. It thus creates a legally compliant basis for the safe operation and maintenance of electrical equipment in a commercial environment.
Charging cables for electric vehicles are classified as portable electrical equipment and are subject to regular testing if they are provided by companies and used commercially. This testing may only be carried out by a person qualified to do so. Persons with expertise in high-voltage systems in accordance with DGUV Information 209-093 Level 2S are authorized to do so, provided they have completed the relevant training or further education.
The training course provides participants with comprehensive knowledge on how to carry out these tests professionally. Topics covered include the procedure for electrical testing of AC charging cables (Mode 2 and Mode 3), the safe use of various measuring devices, the evaluation and assessment of measurement results, and the correct documentation of test results.
