This training course conveys content based on DGUV Information 209-093 Level 2E Entry B and creates a legally sound basis for handling high-voltage systems in Electromobility.
This training course focuses on practical content relating to occupational safety, organisation, first aid, various grid systems, and the corresponding protective measures. Participants will learn how to conduct a legally compliant and professional Hazard Assessment, work instruction, and instruction.
The content is reinforced through practical exercises on the commissioning and decommissioning of high-voltage systems. This provides participants with comprehensive qualifications for safe work on de-energised HV systems, particularly during commissioning, with a focus on testing the protective function and creating a test report.

For individuals who are required to independently perform specific tasks on HV systems at various stages of development. This includes all electrical work carried out in a de-energised state. Examples include: establishing a de-energised state on the HV system, replacing HV components, and commissioning vehicles after repair work.
The content covering the organisation of occupational safety prepares participants to assume specialist and management responsibility for a specific area.
You will learn:
- to work independently and safely on de-energised high-voltage systems
- to apply the fundamental occupational health and safety principles and the organisation when handling HV systems, including qualification requirements
- to measure current, voltage and resistance professionally and to carry out the corresponding measuring procedures safely
- to professionally assess measured values and evaluate their plausibility
- prepare hazard assessments in the context of electrotechnical work and derive suitable protective measures from them
- Prior electrical engineering knowledge in the automotive sector, e.g. trained in automotive electrics, automotive mechatronics, automotive mechanics, agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics.
- Optional entry test to verify entry requirements

What are the differences between the FHV Entry B and Entry A training courses?
The 'Qualified Person for HV-Systems – Entry Level B' training course is aimed at individuals with prior electrical engineering knowledge, e.g. from automotive mechatronics. Entry Level A, on the other hand, is aimed at technically trained individuals without basic electrical engineering knowledge. As a result, Entry Level B is more compact and requires a higher initial level of knowledge.
What previous electrical engineering knowledge is required to take part in Entry B?
Participants should have completed training in an electrotechnical field within the automotive sector, e.g. as a motor vehicle mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or have comparable qualifications. A general technical background is not sufficient.
Is it also possible for people without a journeyman's certificate to take part in the Entry B training course?
Yes, provided there is a sound knowledge of electrical engineering in the field of vehicle technology. An optional entry test can be used to assess the prerequisites.
Can the content of the Entry B training course be individually adapted to company requirements?
