Instructed Person in Electrical Safety (EuP) with focus on Test bench

Instructed Persons in Electrical Safety are only permitted to perform specific tasks on electrical test benches if this is done under the direction and supervision of a certified electrician and if they have been specifically trained for the particular hazards and requirements of these workplaces. This training course provides the necessary qualification.

The focus is on the electrotechnical principles, the typical hazards in the environment of test benches, and the corresponding protective measures. Particular attention is paid to the regulations VDE 0104 and DGUV Information 203-034, which were developed specifically for the safe operation and use of electrical test benches.

Among other things, participants will learn how to acknowledge protective devices, enter locked electrical operating areas, and take on tasks in the vicinity of test benches in a legally compliant and safe manner. The training course is aimed at employees without electrical engineering training who regularly come into contact with electrical test systems as part of their work – for example, in workshops, laboratory operations or quality assurance.

Through the targeted combination of general electrical safety and specific specialist knowledge for test systems, this training creates a solid basis for the safe and responsible deployment of electrically instructed persons in the company.
